Yes. Every card in Ref Marty includes its own customizable countdown timer, allowing you to choose the amount of time that best fits your family’s routine.
Is Ref Marty a parenting method?
No. Ref Marty is a communication tool. It doesn’t tell you how to parent or what consequences to use—it simply helps you communicate expectations in a clear, consistent way.
What devices are supported?
Ref Marty is currently available for iPhone. Android support may be considered in a future release.
Does Ref Marty collect information about my child?
No. Ref Marty is designed with privacy in mind and does not require child accounts or collect personal information about children. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details.
Can I use Ref Marty in the classroom?
Many of the communication techniques may also be helpful in educational settings. However, every classroom is different, so teachers and schools should determine whether Ref Marty is appropriate for their environment.
